Calvary Chapel Bible College was started in 1975 as a ministry of Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa under the direction of Pastor Chuck Smith. The original campus was in the Lake Arrowhead area and is now located in Murrieta, CA.

We offer at our extension school the same curriculum as the main campus but our courses are in video and audio form. We have 2 types of students, audit and credit. Credit students take the courses and are graded for college credits. Audit students take the same course for no credit.

The two degree programs offered for credit students are:

Associates in Theology - 2 year program

Bachelors in Bible Studies - This is the same as the 2 year program, however, you must have 60 units of transferable general education from a junior college or equivalent.

The college is not formally accredited, because of the constraints that may be placed by the state and also to remain free from outside control and free to be led by the Holy Spirit.
