Psalm 63:1, “O God, you are My God, my soul thirsts for you, my flesh longs for you, in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water.”

The title for this ministry is ‘Magnificent Obsession’.

Our vision for the women here at Calvary Chapel Antelope Valley is that they will thirst and long for the things of the Lord with their whole being and make the pursuit of knowing God, our Lord and Savior, their Magnificent Obsession.

We seek to offer to them a well of refreshing in the Lord through the study of His Word. Therefore we offer Bible studies. Here they are offered in-depth teaching of the Word, homework to help them dig deeper in the Word, group accountability, fellowship and prayer.

Every event we plan, i.e., the end of the Bible study dinner, summer studies, the women’s retreat and the Christmas dinner, will always be centered on the Word of God. We are praying that many ladies will
come to know Jesus through these special events and Bible Study,
and we as believers will draw closer to the Lord and be able to reach
out and touch others in the name of Jesus.

Our desire is to provide an opportunity for all women at Calvary Chapel to experience God’s grace through His Word, God’s power through His Spirit and God’s call through serving others.
