Calvary Chapel Christian School

Ministry Overseer: Giselda Mancilla

Calvary Chapel Christian School was established as a Ministry of CCAV in 1997. We are a home school group, which is an Independent Study Program and a Support Group. An Independent Study Program or ISP is an alternative to conventional classroom instruction which is recognized by both public and private schools. ISP students do not typically attend traditional classes, but receive instruction at home. All students enrolled in CCCS are considered to be on independent study. In our program, the parents are the primary teachers and are directly accountable to the Administrator for the attendance, course of study, schedule, and academic progress of their students.

Deuteronomy 6: 5-7 tells us; “You shall love the Lord God with all your heart, with all your soul , and with all your might. And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart; You shall teach them diligently to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you sit up.”

It is our prayer to be of service to the Lord first. Our goal at CCCS is to support, encourage and provide accountability to all families that have chosen home education for their children. Home Education allows your children to have one on one instruction as well as a personalized curriculum to fit the need of each child individually and to move at their own speed. Parents are also able to direct character building and strong moral values. As Christian parents and educators, we all want to train up our children to be able to make wise decisions, to walk confidently and boldly in their service to God.
