The Vision for the Calvary Chapel AV Youth Ministry is to make young disciples of Jesus Christ. Our desire, first of all, is to maintain living, passionate, real relationships with Jesus Christ ourselves; then to go and minister to these kids out of the overflow of that relationship.

In what ways do we minister?

1. Through the preaching and teaching of God’s Word. We are currently studying Daniel on Sunday mornings and the Gospel of Luke on Wednesday nights.

2. Also we want to promote fellowship among our youth by providing extra activities besides Bible Studies that we try to schedule at least once a month.

3. We also desire to get our youth involved in mission’s trips to Mexico in order to give them a vision for the world.

4. With all of this, nothing can be more important than prayer for the ministry and the youth, as the LORD told Zerubbabel in Zech 4:6. This is the word of the LORD unto Zerubbabel, saying, not by might, nor power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts.

5. In Simplicity, Acts 2:42 – And they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayers.

We want to see these kids on fire for Jesus, with a depth to their relationship with Him. We want to see the Spirit at work in their lives and that’s what we’re praying for!
